(1) The Tribunal or the Appellate Tribunal may proceed in contempt. (2) If the Tribunal finds it in contempt, it may punish the accused with a fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with imprisonment which may extend to one month or with both. (3) If the Appellate Tribunal finds the accused in contempt. (4) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1) or (3), if the accused tenders an apology to the satisfaction of the concerned tribunal or the appellate tribunal, he may be pardoned or punished without any punishment. If it has been set, it can reduce or waive the sentence or postpone the sentence and order not to execute the sentence if the specified conditions are complied with.
